Saturday afternoon, Sedona Fire responded to a rollover crash on Highway-89-A near Page Springs Road. Fire Marshal John Davis says a jeep with seven people inside rolled off the road; landing upright. Davis says crews found all occupants out of the vehicle, including the driver who had been removed by the passengers. Davis says the driver was flown to FMC with serious injuries and two passengers were taken to VVMC. He says all occupants were wearing their seat-belts, which likely saved their lives. Davis says crews had to extinguish a small grass fire ignited by the crash. DPS is still investigating the cause of the crash, though officials are reporting that it’s possible the driver lost control of the vehicle.
