Late afternoon Tuesday, Cottonwood Fire crews responded to a head on collision in the 1400 block of Greenlee Street. Fire officials say the driver and single occupant of a passenger vehicle crashed in a parked car head on and hard enough for airbags to deploy. The driver, and only person involved in the accident, was transported to VVMC for treatment. Details into what caused the crash have not been released.
