Yavapai County Attorney’s Office receives grant to send three adult probation officers to the upcoming 24/7 National Summit

The Yavapai County Attorney’s Office recently received a grant for $5000 from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to send three Yavapai County adult probation officers to the upcoming 24/7 National Summit. The two-day Summit, held in Sacramento, California in April, will highlight best practices for 24/7 Sobriety programs.  The 24/7 Sobriety model provides for frequent alcohol and drug-testing of participants with immediate and appropriate sanctions for violations. Administrative Assistant Penny Cramer says the 24/7 Sobriety Program will provide new ways to reduce the toll of alcohol and drugs in Yavapai County and throughout the State of Arizona.
