Very little information is being released regarding an incident on a Mingus Union High School Bus. Cottonwood Police Sgt. Monica Kuhlt says there was a reported assault that occurred recently on the bus. The department is working with school staff to confirm jurisdiction. Once that’s worked out it will determined the direction of the investigation. The only information the school has released is that legal counsel was obtained to ensure the students and staff involved in the matter are protected. Information on exactly what happened has still not been officially released.
