Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has released the Saint Patrick’s Day weekend Statewide DUI enforcement statistics. While most arrests were up, the increase over last year was marginal. Highway Patrol Officers made 358 DUI arrests this year, up 9 since 2017 with an additional 51 for Aggravated, 307 Misdemeanor, and 98 Extreme, up only a handful since last year. The total number of traffic stops came in at a little over 9800, down just 8 arrests over last year. Total number of other arrests were down; 428 compared to 586 the previous year.
