Prescott Valley Police responded to a fatal crash Wednesday night. Prescott Valley resident 57-year old Suzanne Angelica Salazar, possibly suffering from some sort of medical issue, was travelling eastbound on Lakeshore Drive at a high rate of speed and crashed head first into the culverts under Tonopah Drive. There was no indication of braking. Spokesman Jerry Ferguson says Salazar suffered serious injuries and was transported to YRMC and then flown to a Phoenix area hospital. He says they were notified that Salazar died as a result of her injuries. The investigation continues.
