Central Arizona Fire crews responded to two vehicle fires in under an hour Monday afternoon in Prescott Valley. Fire Marshal Rick Chase says the first call was at 2:45 at a construction site on Viewpoint Drive. He says workers at the site controlled the fire in the bed of the truck with water from a water truck and fire extinguisher. Chase says the second call came in at 3:30. A flatbed truck was on fire on Highway-89A and Glassford Hill Road. He says the fire was quickly doused and crews kept the flames from getting into the nearby brush.
