8/25 YCSO filed additional charges against a former Dr. Daniel Bright Elementary School teacher who was arrested in June after a victim came forward and said they were molested by 31-year-old Chester Cox when they were a student. The crimes occurred several years ago. Investigators executed a search warrant on Cox’s electronic devices and discovered he had set up recording devices in his classroom as well as a private bathroom connected to his classroom. Several students were found to have been secretly recorded while using the restroom. Detectives at this point do not believe Cox circulated the images or videos and all victims and their families were notified. Cox is being held without bond on additional charges of surreptitious videotaping and sexual exploitation of a minor.
