3/30 YCSO recently dispatched 4X4 volunteers to the Crown King area on a report of an overdue subject. Searchers were told the man had been recreating in the area, but his family noted his vehicle’s location and that it hadn’t moved in over 8-hours. Volunteers drove down Forest Road-192 and then split into 3-teams to try and locate the man. A team located the man, who was tired and thirsty after spending over 16-hours stranded with no cellphone service. The man was reunited with his family near Lake Pleasant.
