5/13 YCSO responded to Sunset Point Rest Area Friday night on a report a woman trying to run over a man in the parking lot.The investigation determined Marcelino Rivera Jr. had been arguing with Teresa Fredericksen. As Fredericksen attempted to drive away, Marcelino jumped onto the vehicle, breaking the passenger side mirror and then falling to the parking lot. Fredericksen then repeatedly tried to run Rivera over. Deputies found meth and drug paraphernalia on Rivera who was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal damage, false reporting and drug possession. Fredericksen was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
