7/17 Flagstaff Police responded to a train versus pedestrian incident near the Industrial Drive and Fanning Road crossing Thursday. Spokesman Jerry Rintala says 38-year-old Ren Bedoni of Flagstaff was pronounced dead on scene. Witnesses told police Bedoni walked onto the tracks while the crossing arms were lowered, the warning signals were on and the engineer was sounding the horn. The public is reminded that it’s illegal and dangerous to be on train tracks.
