5/08 Thursday, Verde Valley Fire District assisted with a trail rescue involving a Cocodona 250 participant in the area of Raptor Hill Trail. Guardian Air was first on scene; they landed and began care of the patient. They then flew the patient to a hospital to receive further care. YCSO, Cottonwood Fire and the Coconino National Forest also responded.
