7/24 A Tuba City man was sentenced to life in prison, plus 40-years, for an April 2024 shooting that resulted in 1-death and 2-others seriously injured. After the shooting, 46-year-old Derick Lee Myron, stole a truck, ran over the victim he killed and fled the area. Myron was caught following a 2-day manhunt. A jury found him guilty of 2-nd Degree Murder, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Robbery, and Discharging a Firearm During a Crime of Violence.
