7/13 Tonto National Forest firefighters responded to the Pine Creek Fire Sunday. It’s located in Pine Canyon, about 2-miles southwest of Baker Butte Lookout. Officials say the fire was caused by lightning and did receive rain. The fire is located in a rugged area. The forest service is using water drops to fight the blaze.
