7/03 Tonto National Forest says the Sycamore Fire, north of Globe, is now 91% contained with 11,939-acres burned. Officials say fire activity is limited to smoldering within the interior of the blaze, which was started by lightning on June 15-th. This is the final update for the Sycamore Fire. Today the fire transitions from the Type-3 Team back to the Tonto National Forest. The area remains closed to the public.
