6/23 Tonto National Forest official say the Sycamore Fire, is 8% contained at 9,036-acres with 444-personnel working the blaze. Officials say the majority of the fire growth was on the west side of the fire in the Salt River Wilderness Area. Containment increased along the southeast side of the fire where crews have extinguished all the hotspots.
