5/29 The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fire behind Circle K in Overgaard Monday night. Witnesses reported seeing a man near the fire when it started, but he left when confronted. Later that night, a deputy spotted a man matching the description going into the Circle K. He watched as the man took several items from the shelves and put them in his pockets. 41-year-old Shawn Bell of Maricopa was arrested as he left the store. He was charged with reckless burning and shoplifting.
