Stronghold Fire 62% Contained

5/2 Tonto National Forest officials say crews made great progress in further containing the Stronghold Fire, south of Cochise. Crews were able to secure the north and east sides of the fire and it is now 62% contained. There’s been no growth of the fire for the past few days; it remains at 2,138-acres. 265-personnel are assigned to the fire, including hotshot and hand crews, engines, water tenders, and air support.
