Stronghold Fire 22% Contained at just over 2,000-acres

4/30 Fire crews made good progress Tuesday on the Stronghold Fire near Cochise. As of last night’s update, the fire was 22% contained with 2,138-acres burned. Additionally, fire resources were able to establish line on the northwest side of the fire in the Cochise Stronghold area. A night division is patrolling and monitoring along the fire’s perimeter ensuring the fire holds. The “GO” and “SET” evacuation notices remain in place.
