Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and we are expecting a higher volume of pedestrian and vehicle traffic. To help keep our trick-or-treaters, residents and visitors safe, road closures and parking restrictions will be in place in two of Prescott’s busiest Halloween neighborhoods.

Traffic control begins at 1:00 PM
Hard closure by 2:00 PM
• Mt. Vernon Ave. will be closed from Sheldon St., through Senator Hwy, to Haisley Rd.
• E. Willis St.: Pleasant St. to Virginia St.
• E. Goodwin St.: Pleasant St. to Virginia St.
• E. Carleton St.: Pleasant St. to Mt. Vernon Ave.
• Oak St.: Virginia St. to Mt. Vernon Ave.
• No vehicle access to Senator Hwy from Summit Pointe Dr. or Palmer Pl. W.
Gurley Street will remain OPEN in both directions.
COUNTRY CLUB / PARK AREA
Traffic control begins at 2:00 PM
Hard closure by 3:00 PM
• Country Club Dr.: Park Ave. to Coronado Ave.
• Access to Country Club Dr. will be closed at Moreland Dr., Aspen St., Perry St., Vista Dr. and Park Ave.
Roads will reopen once the Prescott Police Department determines it is safe to do so.
Please review the attached maps and plan your route ahead of time. All traffic laws remain in effect, and we ask drivers and pedestrians to slow down, stay vigilant, use caution and be patient as everyone enjoys Halloween night.
