6/03 Sedona installed 3 new outdoor warning sirens in the Uptown and Brewer Road areas. The sirens are used to warn the public of emergencies such as wildfires, flash floods or law enforcement emergencies. These new sirens can deliver spoken messages, warning tones and can be tested without volume. They’re located in Uptown at the parking garage, Thompson Trail and the Ranger Station Park on Brewer Road. If the new sirens work out, additional ones may be installed in other parts of the city.
