Sedona Fire Seeing Increase in Rescue Calls with the Warmer Weather

4/18 With the nicer weather, Sedona Fire has seen an increase in calls from hikers that need rescue. Officials say they’ve especially seen an increase in calls at Slide Rock State Park and Cathedral Rock. Wednesday, crews responded to a backcountry emergency 4-miles up Schnebly Hill Road. The agency reminds the public to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy shoes, and know your limits.
