4/03 Scammers are using the Sedona Fire District’s name in an effort to steal money from would be victims. Officials say several residents reported they received a call from someone claiming to be with the department, asking for donations. The potential victims reported that the suspects tried to sell medical insurance to them or requested money for past medical services. Sedona Fire District does not solicit medical insurance sales by phone and does not request payment for treatment. Never give out your personal information.
