6/23 Firefighters are gaining ground on the Rock Fire along the Arizona/Utah border. The fire is now 50% contained at 4,823-acres. Fire activity decreased on the fire Monday and crews have started work on making repairs to the area. Crews are also making sure the fire-lines are holding and conducting mop up. Some resources have been sent to fight other fires. The Rock Fire was started by lightning on June 15-th.
