5/21 DPS and ADOT released the results from their “International Road Check” operation they conducted in northern Arizona, from May 12-th through the 14-th. Over the 3-day operation, troopers and officers conducted more than 1,000-commercial vehicle inspections with one-third of the drivers or vehicles being taken off the roadway for various violations. Officials say the most common issues were fictitious logbook entries and broken vehicle parts. Troopers also seized more than 5,200-pounds of marijuana during the detail.
