5/18 Friday night, Prescott Police responded to a single-vehicle, fatal motorcycle crash, in the 900-block of East Gurley Street. Officials say a 73-year-old Prescott resident failed to make a curve in the roadway and crashed. The driver was transported to YRMC where they died from their injuries. The crash forced the closure of Gurley Street for some 6-hours. Witnesses told police the rider was traveling at a high-rate of speed when they crashed. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Prescott Police.
