5/15 Prescott National Forest Fire Managers are planning a 2,500-acre prescribed burn, along Highway-169. Officials say the burn could begin on May 25-th. If the weather allows, the burn would take up to 3-days to complete. The forest service is also hoping to conduct a burn on the east side of I-17, near the Orme/Dugas Road exit, starting this next Monday. The project will take a few days to complete.
