8/07 Prescott Police arrested 42-year-old Wendell Schaffer of Prescott in connection with the sexual abuse of a juvenile. The investigation began in May when the victim claimed Schaffer had been abusing them for years. During questioning, Schaffer made admissions to the allegations. A search warrant was served at his home Wednesday and he was taken into custody. He’s charged with sexual conduct with a minor, child molestation and aggravated assault. The investigation continues.
