7/09 The Pocket Fire, in Oak Creek Canyon, north of Sedona, is now 69% contained at 27,451-acres. Highway-89A remains closed between Sedona and Flagstaff and residents in the canyon remain on “SET” status. Crews have been tying in containment lines and using water bucket drops on areas that can’t be reached on foot.
