Crews continue working day and night to keep the Pocket Fire within identified containment lines. Although very little rain occurred yesterday over the fire area, two lightning strikes were observed in the vicinity of Secret Mountain near the Southwest perimeter of the fire. Crews are on alert for potential thunderstorm activity again this afternoon with a chance of lightning and gusty outflow winds. Firefighters are also poised for initial attack in the event of lightning starts.
