6/13 Prescott National Forest fire managers have planned a prescribed burn for next week on the Verde Ranger District. Crews hope to burn 915-acres between Dugas Road and Highway-169, on the east side of I-17. If the burn takes place, ignitions will begin Tuesday and last for one day. Smoke will be visible from I-17, Highway-69, Highway-169, Dewey-Humboldt and Cordes Junction.
