9/17 The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office and DPS are investigating a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian crash that occurred on Highway-89 early Wednesday morning. Officials say at around 1:30-am, a man was found deceased on the highway in the area of Townsend-Winona Road. Investigators believe the victim was struck by a fast-moving vehicle. The victim’s name has not been released. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office or DPS.
