Officer Involved Shooting in Cottonwood/Male Subject with Shotgun Killed

4/28 There was an officer involved shooting in Cottonwood last night. Cottonwood Police say officers responded to a domestic violence call in the area of Viejo and Fir Street. As officers were evacuating other people from the home, a male subject, armed with a shotgun, confronted officers. The subject was shot and killed. No officers were injured and DPS is handling the investigation. Further details will be released when they become available.
