5/04 Saturday afternoon, Central Arizona Fire and Medical responded to a house fire on 4-th Street in Prescott Valley. Crews arrived to find a 2-story home on fire with flames showing from the roof. The person living in the home evacuated safely and the fire was doused. The house that burned is identified as the historic Barlow-Massicks house, built in the late 1800’s. What caused the fire is under investigation.
