9/9 A new law in Arizona reduces the number of times you’ll have to get your photo ID updated. ADOT says instead of every 12-years, the public will have to update their driver license or ID photo with MVD every 16-years. The new law goes into effect this Saturday. Officials say the new requirement lines up with the expiration dates for the federally compliant Arizona Travel ID, which is valid for 8-years, so the new timeframe will require a new photo at every other renewal.
