7/02 Navajo Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run, on Wednesday, May 27-th. Officers responded to the Alon gas station in Tsaile on a report the driver of a sky-blue, single-cab Dodge 2500 or 3500 4×4 pickup, struck a pedestrian and drove away. The incident occurred between 11:30 and 11:45-am. The victim suffered a broken leg. The driver was described as an elderly male, medium build, 5-8 to 5-10 with shoulder length dark hair. He was wearing a tan camouflage baseball cap with the word “REALTREE” on the front, a light-colored, short-sleeve plaid button-up shirt, gray or light-colored pants, tan work boots and eyeglasses hanging from the front of his shirt.
