More Flooding in the Grand Canyon

9/17 Grand Canyon officials say a flash flood occurred Wednesday afternoon along Bright Angel Creek, the Colorado River and the North Rim Campground. All workers in the canyon moved to safety before the waters came through. A closure order on the North Rim was put in place due to the storm and Highway-67 was closed for a period of time due to flooding and debris on the roadway. Crews will assess any new damages today. Stage-4 water restrictions remain in place at the park.
