6/01 A man wanted for an October, 2025, kidnapping and assault in Paulden, has been captured in California. YCSO says 46-year-old Jason Marchesano was wanted for the listed charges as well as attempted 2-nd degree homicide. Marchesano assaulted his girlfriend while she was tied to a bed in a travel trailer; he refused to let her go. She escaped and called for help at which time YCSO began looking for Marchesano. Information was recently received that the suspect could be found at Legoland in California. He was taken into custody without incident and is awaiting extradition back to Yavapai County
