12/24 The Navajo Nation Office of the Prosecutor charged 67-year-old Stanley Begay Jr. with the fatal Christmas parade crash that occurred in Kayenta Monday evening. Begay’s vehicle crashed into a crowd of people getting ready for the parade; killing a 3-year-old child and seriously injuring 3-others, including a pregnant woman. He’s been charged with Homicide by Vehicle. Begay remains in custody and is scheduled for arraignment on January 13-th.
