7/24 Thanks to the monsoon, Kaibab National Forest fire mangers are conducting prescribed pile burns over the next several weeks on the Williams and Tusayan Ranger Districts. Officials say they have about 750-acres of piles to treat around Williams and just over 100-acres of piles near Tusayan. The piles are the result of thinning operations in the areas.
