10/6 The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office says an inmate died while in their custody back on September 18-th. Officials say 33-year-old Nathan Dunson had been arrested on drug related charges. He was found deceased in a single-occupancy medical cell at around 4:30 that morning. The Cottonwood man tested positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and fentanyl. Officials say Duson was being monitored by surveillance cameras as well as a bed-check every 30-minutes. The County Medical Examiner is determining Dunson’s exact cause of death.
