8/07 Coconino National Forest responded to the Hart Fire near Sedona Thursday. Officials say the fire is located 8-miles northwest of Sedona and 1.5-miles north of the Palatki Heritage site. It’s believed the fire was started by lightning from a passing storm. No structures or communities are threatened. The fire is burning in a remote area and will take time for firefighters to reach. Reconnaissance flights are being conducted this morning.
