Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for New AZ Dept of Fire Dispatch Center

2/17 A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of the new Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management Dispatch Center. The ceremony took place on Friday with Governor Katie Hobbs on hand. The new 7,000-square foot facility will be located near the current facility in Phoenix and will increase workspace for dispatchers and serve as a command center for agency overhead during the state’s wildfire season. Construction should be finished by this October.
