5/01 The Coconino National Forest has free ponderosa pine firewood available near Canyon Vista Campground, 5-miles southeast of Flagstaff, along Lake Mary Road. The 300-cords of wood are available to anyone who has a Free-Use Firewood Permit. If you would like a permit, visit the Flagstaff Ranger Station or Forest Headquarters. Each permit is good for up to 5-cords of wood.
