1/26 Friday night, the Camp Verde Marshals Office responded to a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the area of Highway-260 and Verde Lakes Drive. Deputies arrived to find a 20-year-old man deceased in the roadway. DPS and the Yavapai County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted in the investigation. Officials say there were no signs of impairment on the driver. Further details will be released when they’re available. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Marshal’s Office.
