3/19 A man charged with being DUI during a fatal crash on Highway-260 in Camp Verde in May of last year, was recently sentenced to 10-years in prison. At the time the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office arrested 47-year-old Jose Arturo Guzman Valderrama he admitted he had been drinking; drugs were also found in his system. Valderrama was headed eastbound on Highway-260 when he crossed the centerline and collided with a westbound vehicle, killing the passenger. Valderrama pleaded guilty to manslaughter and aggravated assault.
