12/22 A DPS Trooper recently spotted a hot pink McLaren traveling at 143-miles per hour in a 65-mile per hour zone in Bagdad. The Trooper was on Highway-93 when the vehicle passed them. The Trooper notified dispatch of the vehicle at which time another Trooper was notified the vehicle was on their way to them. The driver immediately stopped and claimed to be having a medical emergency and that was the reason for the speed. Officials say he was medically checked, cleared, and then arrested for reckless driving and criminal speed. The vehicle was impounded for 20-days.
