10/21 DPS received a $42-thousand grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to support enforcement efforts targeting illegal street and highway racing across the state. The funding will pay for focused details that will be conducted. In 2025, Troopers issued thousands of criminal speed and reckless driving citations and impounded more than 3-thousand vehicles showing that these kinds of special enforcement details are needed.
