12/17 DPS made a sizeable drug seizure during a recent traffic stop in the Phoenix area. DPS State Gang Task Force detectives discovered the driver did not have a valid driver’s license, which lead to the vehicle being impounded for 20-days. As they conducted an inventory of the vehicle, detectives located 138-pounds of methamphetamine concealed inside duffel bags. The suspect was then jailed on felony drug charges. A name was not released.
