The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions on Interstate 17 near the junction with State Route 169 in February and March for guardrail repairs.
Drivers should prepare for the following restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
- Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between mileposts 277-274 on Tuesday, Feb. 11, Wednesday, Feb. 12, and Tuesday, Feb. 25.
- Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between mileposts 274-277 on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
- Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane between mileposts 277-274 on Tuesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 5.
- A 13-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place during this time.
- The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
The traffic restrictions are needed for crews to safely make guardrail repairs.
